The event host, the Monster truck ICON, Dennis Anderson was introduced to gas powered large scalers in May of 2007 when HPI Racing's Rodney Wills and John Schultz gave him the controls to a brand new HPI Baja 5B.  Dennis was like a kid in a candy store driving this amazing vehicle.  He was truly impressed with the abilities of the buggy and remarked that "it's so realistic, I can't believe how it reacts"  Coming from a Monster truck world champion with an amazing motorsports resume, this is very high praise for one of the most innovative rc products ever produced.
